I hear you Linda - it took me almost two months of on and off trying to learn and giving up. Have you tried youtubing videos? I found it easier to learn by copying what the smart youtubers were doing. Also, I found it easier to learn using a smaller hook - with a large hook I just produced lots of odd-shaped balls. Keep on trying! I will watch out for your first success posts!
